nothing good happens after 2am.

like ted mosby says, never make decisions after 2am. cos they can never be any good. gosh. am i seriously craving this now.thank God i have no kaya at home now.

at 3.37am.

it's 3.37am now. don't ask me what i'm doing here on my blog when im better off in bed or rushing to complete my never ending list of work. but it's just hard to resist the temptation rambling here in the stillness of the morning/night. it's been a long time since i had the luxury of enjoying the jazzy blues while i surf interesting reads.30 minutes.albeit extravagant, considering my load of work that's threatening to tip me over to insanity, but it's one of those moments you know you didnt regret spending that way, nonetheless.

the same old tune.

back to square one. funny how that familiar green and almost cheesy design gives it an appeal (that the others i try on) dont. haha. (okay i should really be studying instead of occupying my time with this>.<)ARGH.hahaha.

something, somehow about the realities of life.

"The Invitation" by Oriah Mountain Dreamer. It doesn't interest me what you do for a living. I want to know what you ache for, and if you dare to dream of meeting your heart's longing. It doesn't interest me how old you are. I want to know if you will risk looking like a fool for love, for your dream, for the adventure of being alive. It doesn't interest me what planets are squaring your moon. I want to know if you have touched the center of your own sorrow, if you have been opened by life's betrayals or have become shriveled and closed from fear of further pain! I want to know if you can sit with pain, mine or your own, without moving to hide it or fade it, or fix it. I want to know if you can be with joy, mine or your own, if you can dance with wildness and let the ecstasy fill you to the tips of your fingers and toes without cautioning us to be careful, to be realistic, to remember the limitations of being human. It doesn't interest me if the story

the leap.

i caught season four's last episode of how i met your mother today (finally!)--almost forget how brilliant it had been (: LILY: Architecture is killing you, Ted, and it's killing us to watch it killing you. You're like that goat with the washcloth, you want it so bad, and every time the world tries to take it away from you, you keep grabbing it. But you know what? Why do you even want it? TED: Because I have to be an architect. That's... that's the plan. it's funny how we let certain things dictate the way we lead our lives at times, though why, and how we came to that, we had no justified reason for.

it's national day down under!

came across something really lame today. The pledge : We, the passengers of MRT, poise ourselves as 1 united kiasu. Regardless of pregnant women, elderly & little children, to chiong in when the doors open, so as to achieve seats, sleep & rest. ok. its reallly lame. but it gave me a good laugh and made me miss home even more--there's something endearing about singaporeans when they are amazingly unabashed about being singaporeans.ha. happy birthday singapore! (:
